AUGUST FULL MOON AT CHLEMOUTSI CASTLE

On Friday August 12 2022, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Ilia offered the Chlemoutsi castle archaeological site to the public to enjoy the moonlight, participating in the celebration of the August Full Moon.

On this day, Chlemoutsi castle remained open until midnight, with free entrance, allowing visitors to tour the monument’s open exhibition areas, as well as the temporary art exhibition of children’s creations “In the Colours of the Castle”, organised within the project “Coastal Heritage Network – CoHeN” of the Interreg V-A programme Greece – Italy 2014–2020.

The event was musically accompanied by “The Flash Band” group.
